Tryout dates have been set for the 2025 Lightning tryouts. The Lightning program is PCLL’s competitive baseball offering that’s in addition to the spring/summer rec ball season.

We expect to fill at least one Lightning team in the 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, and 13U age levels. At some age levels, two teams may be filled.

To determine your player's age for the 2025 Lightning team, please use the age your player will be on April 30, 2025. (For example, a player who is 10 years old on April 30, 2025 would qualify for the 10U team).

- 9U: Sunday, July 21 at Plymouth Township Park Field 4, 4-6pm (Additional date if necessary, 7/28, 2-4pm)

-10U: Friday, July 19 at Plymouth Township Park Field 4, 5:30-7:30pm (Additional date if necessary, 7/30, 5:30-7:30pm)

-11U: Tuesday, July 23 at Plymouth Township Park Field 4, 5:30-7pm (Additional date if necessary, 7/30, 5:30-7pm)

-12U: Tuesday, July 23 at Plymouth Township Park Field 4, 7-8:30pm (Additional date if necessary, 7/30, 7-8:30pm)

- 13U: Monday, July 22 at Church of the Nazarene, 6-8pm (Additional date if necessary, 7/29, 6-8pm)

WHAT TO EXPECT
- 2-3 practices per week beginning in the late fall and continuing through the winter up to spring.

- Up to 8 tournaments for Lightning teams 10U and above. Up to 5 tournaments for 8U and 9U. Likely to include at least one out of state tournament.
