Updates and Important Information as of 08/14

Hello all, 
Below is information that you need to read and complete if necessary.  Please take the time to read everything. 

Player photos and Birth Certificates If you haven't already done so, you need to upload your child's photo and birth certificate into the blue sombrero site.  To do this, you need to log in to your account at http://www.aysounitedcedarrapids.org, on the "My Account" page, you should see your child's name with an icon to the right side of it.  On that screen, you can upload your photo in the upper left.  Then you can upload the birth certificate in the section just below the Date of Birth section.  This needs to be completed ASAP as we need to have these items to produce the player cards that are needed before the first game.   

Uniforms and Practice T-shirts If you haven't already received a practice t-shirt, you should be able to get one this week before training.  Coaches will be handing out player uniforms, bags and warm ups this week as well.  If you are missing anything, please contact Janie Fawcett @ [email protected] 

Spirit Store The Spirit store is now up on the website.  You have until August 25th to order before it is closed. 

Team Updates and United Fees We have been moving some players around in many of the age groups and have noticed that there are fees showing for players that have been moved.  Please do not pay any of those fees unless otherwise told to do so.  We are reviewing them to see if they are in fact what needs to be paid or not.  If you do owe any additional fees, you will be notified by email from our Treasurer, Mary Hagensick, about the amount owed. 

Team Training Schedule Make sure to check the training day and time for your team.  This is also available on our website.  Remember that we only mandate 2 training nights per week, and have an optional night.  You can use that optional night for your second training of the week.  Just keep your coach in the loop so that they know who to expect. 

Dick's THQ phone app If you haven't already done so, you can add this app to your phone.  This will allow all of the training and game info to send you reminders to your phone.  There are other advantages to this app that will come out more as we get familiar with it.
